so reading the pokemon month thread made me really wanna play the games except i dont have a ds... or the games.

but i did the next best thing and watched the movies. i saw the first one when it came out and thought it was the shit then so i was kinda prepared to be disappointed this time around. long story short, its still the shit now and anyone with a soul will tear up at the end.
so then i was like, these are awesome why have i not seen the rest (well i saw the 2nd one way back then as well and it was good too) so i skipped to the 9th and started watching there.

this is basically a summary of the pokemon movies

the first few were super awesome but by the time you get to the last few your eyes are bleeding and you're wishing for death

i too once made the fatal mistake of deciding to watch the other pokemon movies seren, i ordered them all from the library and then was forced to go camp in the desert with my relatives for thanksgiving and i HAD to watch them ALL (or spend time with my relatives, so it wasnt even a hard choice)

yea they all sucked but i am PROUD to say i survived that herculean trial.

i read like 1/3rd your rant then skippd to the comic and i love prof oak goin "bitch be trippin balls" and how pikachu just looks so happy

I bet this would all just make a hell of a lot more sense if your were drunk and stoned as fuck when you watched the movies like everyone else. How on earth do you think they came up with this shit?

It's like trying to build a building out of clay instead of concrete and metal.
Concrete and metal are your booze and weed, the clay is just you trying to visualize what the building might actually look like if you actually gave a shit to use the proper materials.

And yes if you were drunk and stoned that metaphorical simile might have made a lot more sense and this statement!

-I read all of it because I was bored as shit, and tired of doing homework and drawing, and all I have to say is that I now want to be tripping balls and watch Pokemon movies.

I was the same way but i dled the firered rom and a gba emulator
Firered is a good compromise between the original red and blue and the newer ones

in star wars the jedi had the force, which was something like a super power, except it was cool, something the audience would want even if they couldnt understand it - everything her ability is not.

Your comparing a masterpiece like the original starwars trilogy to Pokemon Cash-in Movie #12

so then after he's lying dying on the ground a human comes and saves him by finding the magical plates that make up his power. that seems like a pretty blatant weakness to give yourself.

Its because arcetus (god) holds different plates in the games in order to change its type
So the movie translated that into this craziness
I only know that cause i looked it up cause it was just too stupid not to be something that was badly translated from the game

I havent seen any of the movies after the 2nd one, and i only really remember the first one
Where pikachu dies and they cry and the tears bring him back to life
