I dont know why ach didnt respond here, but he told me that at the end he had a bunch of cannons against a zerg that had mutas and earlier in the game a base trade happened where ach crippled the zerg in some way that the Z had buildings but couldnt make any more, and at the same time ach lost his army and nexusi and couldnt afford to build any more even though he saved probes

The muta couldnt attack into the cannons, and ach couldnt kill the zerg with his probes because of the muta, so it was a stalemate

I also assumed it was a T floating buildings since thats the most common way it happens after a base trade

The zerg could have done the signature Jaedong muta micro and picked off cannons, and then ran back to regen.

i also left without saying anything cus im a terrible person.
mistakes were made all over.


But yeah, he couldn't engage my army so he forced a base trade with mutas, but he also threw up spines in his main.
By the time i killed all the spines and killed his buildings (with the exception of 3 spines) he had had enough mutas with lings he had rallied to kill my army (barely)
he had 6 mutas left, i had 4 cannons.
He coudn't affect anything but shields before mutas would die. so shield regain won out.
He tried flying overlords into the cannons to absorb shots, but i stopped watching my tv when he did that and focused the mutas.
then he still had 4 mutas so i couldn't attack his 3 extractors with my probes.

I think buildings and armies should have a hidden value assigned to them when this kind of thing happens, and the person with higher average value wins when the tie timer runs out

Cannons would be higher value than extractors since gas collectors would be the lowest value building and muta would also be lower than cannon value since muta are worse than cannons and buildings inherently have more value than army since they are stopping you from losing (large armies would have more value than small numbers of buildings though), so you wouldve won

This could prevent T from forcing ties by base trading and floating away (floating buildings would have much lower value than landed buildings)
