small update

TL;DR:
If Anyone has ideas for or can make a good custom tile, I'd love to include it in my map... as is a lot of the tiles and their effects don't really make sense

also if you have feedback for the effects of the tiles than i'm all ears

if you have an idea for an effect you can post it, but there's only 1 tile free at the moment so it'll have to be really good

aight, i think you're right
but i need a few things:
ideas
and then people who'd make the tile (amaz)

so if anyone has an idea what type of tile would be a good fit for an effect, for the love of god please say it
you'll receive 10000000s of ty's in my map n such

Effects that need tiles:
spinny camera
snow (momentum ice)
rocky snow (momentum ice minus the turning)
sand (sorta momentum ice)

Tiles that need a bit of editing:
medium ice (tile is much bigger than it actually should b and terrain kill does not like it)

there's a few more tiles coming up, but i'll wait till they actually work before requesting help on making them

Ok.. Tiles are:

Blue Boxes (Background)
Red Boxes (Top Middle)
Green Line (Bottom Lines)
Mesh/Grate (Top Right)
Tiled Floor (Top Left)

hrmmm thats tricky

those are all super cool
but they'd look incredibly out of place in my map unless i did every tile in that style

tyvm tho oreo, thats gonna make me reconsider the whole thing

ima wait for a few more ideas (if not from other people, then from me) before deciding though

edit: Pat's idea
the camera spin terrain should have a circular arrow in it... like the recycling logo, but circular instead of triangular
if i do oreo's idea this would probably fit in, otherwise nawt so much

I'll come up with something, i've just been really fucking busy.

I'm learning how to use the mesh tool with illustrator - So I can render/create images that are similar to Team Fortress Two - pretty cool ^^

ok so here's the new tile that i was so happy about

platforming tile

once you touch this tile you're mazer is replaced with a wisp and all the rules from platform escape start applying

a lot of terrain types get new meanings as well
like there's a super bounce (like in the original)
a fast move (movespeed)
a super jump (when on this tile you jump much higher)
and something that pushes you towards its center (hard to explain)
slow gravity field (gravity acts much slower here but movespeed remains the same)

so if possible a few of the tiles would be
a pitch black square to represent empty space (that can be moved through)

a tile that represents death terrain
this terrain tile has the alternate effect of damage over time for when you're a regular mazer

also oreo can you upload the ones you've made so far someplace?

small update before a big update
i didnt like how platforming felt so i ripped it out and am replacing it
let me know what you think

overall changes:
wall jumping increases your horizontal speed more than vertical speed -- this will feel different from before / platform escape
lava kills you smartly. its very loose as is, because i wanted to take advantage of diagonals, but im considering making it less forgiving
ocean -- just try it

to start or restart platforming type "-plat"
to see the current values for platforming type "-help"
to change any of those values type the value name (listed in -help) and then the new value
ex. -ms 10           changes the horizontal movespeed to 10

dont be surprised if your custom settings get overwritten if you change terrain types

UPDATE: added on a feature idea from pattycakes
set gravity to 0 (-ga 0) and, optionally, x falloff to 0 (-xf 0) and jump
